Beat Routes works in Slough and aims to help disadvantaged young people aged 13-25 years old by developing their life skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.
Beat Routes' objectives are to enable young people to:
· Develop a range of social and personal skills including concentration, self-motivation and focus.
· Have the opportunity to express themselves creatively;
· Develop an increased sense of self worth and wellbeing;
· Gain the opportunity to work towards accreditation (Arts Award) and develop leadership skills.
