Leonard Cheshire - Can Do Programme

Leonard Cheshire support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability.

Led by people with experience of disability, the charity is at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support in communities around the globe.

This work is epitomised by the Can Do programme we are running in Manchester, supported by the John Lewis Foundation.  Through this initiative young disabled people can make new friends, develop skills, and enhance their CV by volunteering and working towards a City & Guilds certificate.

Manchester’s Can Do offering also includes sport specific opportunities.
