Can Do Scotland

Leonard Cheshire in Scotland’s flagship project - Can Do - tackles social exclusion and disadvantage experienced by many disabled and vulnerable young people by supporting them to access and develop skills, employment and enterprise opportunities.

With the £12,000 grant from the John Lewis Foundation, Leonard Cheshire Scotland will be able to support 100 young people in Edinburgh and Glasgow to develop essential life skills, equipping them to move on to appropriate training and into meaningful employment.   The Can Do programme encourages these young people to recognise where their interests and aptitudes lie, and helps them mximise their potential in a demanding and challenging world.
