Based in Victoria, London, The Passage seeks to provide resources to encourage, inspire and challenge homeless people to transform their lives. We run the UK's largest Resource Centre for homeless people, used by up to 200 clients every day.
The Passage offers food, showers, laundry facilities and clean clothing, primary medical care, support for mental health and substance abuse issues, and wellbeing advice, as well as accommodation. We also offer practical assistance with numeracy and literacy skills, accessing and completing training opportunities, job seeking, interview clothing, and a mentoring service for those making the transition from homelessness to independent, self-supported living.
Funding from the John Lewis Foundation will provide a dedicated service to homeless people in Westminster, helping them access employment and training opportunities and giving practical support with life skills.
